...it's really making for an interesting build up for my long weekend in Reykjavik later this month

I've just been and it really is a nonevent here. Icelandair has been updating announcements daily. Keep checking there for up to the day reports. Have a wonderful visit.

Yeah I spoke to customer service yesterday and they were stating that for the moment it's not of any concern for travel.

I can't wait, it's been a long 6 year gap between visits
