Remember the VW thing? I think they came off that same assembly line!

Does anyone have any discount codes that are good for rentals in England and Germany?
Thanks.

Hawaii Convertible rate

I noticed that UnitedVacations.com (United Airlines) has a offer for a Convertible in Hawaii for $169 (5 days)! Does anyone know anything about this, like the Alamo rate code needed? I want the rental car, but not the Hotel package they are marketing with it.

Rate code 6T is your best bet for fantastic convertible rates in Hawaii.
Do you know something we don't? Or did you not read some of the previous posts in this thread about 6T no longer being available?

I tried entering this, but it told me the "rate code is unavailable." Question is, can I still get the double miles? I don't really care about the discount, since it wasn't going to be much in the first place. Anyone know????

I want to rent a car for a week on mainland.

Go to UA website which offers 15% off when I "click here"

Do that and get to here:

http://www.alamo.com/hotDealsTemplat...d_306705_offer

For Reservations be sure to request I.D. Number 306705 and Rate Code A8.

And get this error massage:

Please verify that you have entered the correct information.

The entered Corporate ID, Association ID, or Contract ID is invalid

I also tried to enter the code 306705 in both the "ID/Corp ID" field and the "Coupon Code" Field, and both gave an error.

No, as you suspected I failed to read the previous page. 6T had worked so beautifully for such a long time that I took its existence for granted. Sorry. And au revoir, 6T. You will be missed.

Let me add another lament about Alamo. I can't even get my trusty $15 off a three-day rental Enterainment Coupon to work anymore. Even though it explicitly is valid through December 31, 2004. What gives?

no double miles on this one but the same rate and a Free one class upgrade.
ID=371630, Rate Code=BY, Code= U38B
Remember to book one car class BELOW that which you want to end up with, it automatically upgrades you.
Its Sams Club, the last time I used it last week they asked for the coupon I told 'em it was automatic and no coupon was necessary, no problem as it was an up done at time of booking and not when you get there. Now looking over the back of the coupon it says"orginal must be presented at counter" I had no idea it was a coupon that one needed to cut out. I also did the paper work in the term so that might have helped especially with a nice long line growing behind me.
just pass by a Sams and tell 'em you forgot to pick up a travel booklet, walk in the exit doors as thats where they are.

FYI Update: Recently returned from Hawaii and looked in the same Maui brochures that previously had the 6T Rate Code advertisements in them...and they are not to be found any longer.
