SIXT and Miles&More, only 500 miles per rental.

I was actually quite satisfied with SIXT - I have Platinum Status (LH SEN) and doing 15 to 20 rentals per year in FRA. I did online booking without logging in which gives you the cheapest rate.

I learned today that they reduced the Miles&More mileage you earn to 500 no matter how many rentals you did in the last 12 month.

Don't know if this should be a reason to change, but is there another rental company in FRA you would recommend?

They switched the promo to Air Berlin 'Top Bonus' where you now earn up to 2K miles some months ago.


I personally switched from Sixt to Hertz when they introduced the surcharge for young drivers. I am very satisfied, got upgraded every time I rented so far. However, I have to admit that their fleet is not the best as there are lots of Ford, Opel and Kia. Nevertheless they also have BMW, Mercedes etc., mostly at the major airports.
