Yes, I did in STL about a month ago. I had an AMEX card in my wallet in case they demanded it; yet since they didn't, I used my visa.

Tried using this in TPA at the end of april but it didn't beat the AX code above due to the minimum rental restrictions.. so i guess if you are renting for a week or more, try this, otherwise, it appears to me that the AX is cheaper

I cut my sister's van rental fee (Orlando 4/11-4/16) by more than half. The original rate was over $510. The rate, using the codes below, was $228.00.

Corporate id: 675899 (Costco)
Rate code: WT5D (Alamo's pre-pay rate (pre-paid, plus if you cancel you'll have to pay $10)
Coupon code: DU3B ($25 off weekly rental - Costco (you have to print out the coupon and bring it with you))

It costs $45 for a Basic membership to Costco. Even if you don't have one in your area, it may be worthwhile to sign up for a card to get their discount. If you'd like to price compare, go to Costco.com, travel, rental cars and use those links to get the corporate codes/coupons. Don't forget to print out the $25 off coupon before you go.

Note that Costco members also receive one additional driver for free. This can be a savings of $7-10/day if you're traveling with your spouse. The free driver disappears if you input Alamo's pre-pay code, though, so do the math to see if it makes more sense to get the free additional driver or the 15% discount.

No FF miles

Just a note, the last two times that I used this code I got an incredible rate (which is all I care about) however an FYI is that I was told on both occasions at MCI and PHX that this rate is not eligible for FF miles. I'm not complaining just an FYI.
