Car help from Tampa!

I'm trying to help my sister find a rental car for Tampa Airport for April.

I know all about finding the best deals here as I live in Europe and normally everything is included when we book a car for the US but since she lives in the US..different rules heh. :/

Can some kind FT'er help me find the best deal for a SUV please so I can pass the info. onto her?!?!

Thanks.

Greetings from Tampa Bay!

That's an expensive time to rent in Tampa. Do you know what days she'll need? I'll be happy to check for you.

Hiya

Thanks for replying.
Actually, it's coming out cheaper by almost $300 to fly into Tampa instead of Orlando.

I'm pretty sure (not 100% sure yet) it's going to be from 13-18th. Any help you can give...I'm grateful for.

Prices

Looking at the prices from around the internet. You'd be looking at around $550 with all the taxes. It's not cheap at all for an SUV. It might be cheaper to get a lower tier car and then try to upgrade at the counter. If you HAVE to have an SUV though, you'll pay for it. One thing you can also do is just wait and see if the rates change.

Hmmm that's pretty steep. I thought the prices I found just by a quick search was pricey at $450 buy $550 is even more. Hope some sales come up soon!

Thanks for checking.

It's VERY steep! There's no loss for you to wait at this point. It can't go up much more, right?
