e z car rental damage

After being in the car rental industry for 3 years and renting hundreds of cars from every car rental company I finally encountered my first incident. Nothing happened during the rental but on return small little ding on the rear door was noticed by the return agent. I must of overlooked it somehow on pickup. The vehicle was dark blue in color making it a little harder to spot damage. I received the damage paperwork after waiting 30 days and kindly requested photos of the damage. The photos of the damage does not match what was reported. The picture shows a big deep dent in the left rear back quarter panel, the acutal damage was a small ding in the rear hatch door. Im trying to decide how to best go about this. Anybody have any similiar experiences with E Z? Are they pulling one on me ? Should I just have the credit card pay for it and be done with it ? thanks
