Bangkok Air - Flyer Bonus Help - lost userid
I signed up myself and my friend for Bangkokair's Flyerclub... I got my membership info in the mail but she didn't... probably went into spam somewhere.
Nowhere on their website http://flyerbonus.bangkokair.com does it say "click here to resend userid"... I can get a password resent but only if you enter the user ID.
I filled out a web support and it responded that we'd have a response within 7 business days. we're flying next week and greatly need the extra 10 kg baggage allowance.
Any ideas on how to get them to resend the userID? I talked to reservations and they say they don't know anything about the website -- they're just a GSA.

the system won't let me create a new account
I tried that... I have to enter her name in the way it is on her passport and I enter her dates of birth and the system comes back and says it's a duplicate but gives me no ability to have the original login information resent to her at her original email address.
I've even tried different addresses, different phone numbers in different states... but it must be the match with her name and date of birth.

getting Bangkok air to just re-email the welcome email...
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try that... I was on the phone for over a half an hour with them trying to explain this whole mess... it would be much better to pay for the extra 10 kg of baggage (that I'd get if they got the mileage thing right) but it became sort of a mission for me to try and find someone at Bangkok Air who could just look up the mileage number and email it to my friend at the address that's in their system.
I finally talked to a supervisor who promised to call me back. That was two days ago.
Like I said not worth my time but I couldn't stop myself. Sometimes you just want to "win" once with the airlines, a Pyrrhic Victory though it may be. Kind of like United saying "okay, you all won... here's your 500 mile minimum back... and by the way now that we're doing this for you we're offering several other "enhancements" to your FF programs such as new fees on upgrades, etc, etc.
