I would've preferred a Pokemon 777 from JL or NH!

But I have to say that BR's promotion of Hello Kitty is way over the top.

A bit OT but ... did you tour the customs/immigration area? Have they done any work to improve that yet, or is all of that to be done in the next construction phase?

I did see it and it is quite expansive. Upon entry GE will be directly in front of you (I think about 8-10 kiosks) and then all the normal booths are on either side.

Luggage carousels are much larger as well.

I haven't seen it in operation yet but I think one gripe will be the long walk to exit after customs because you have to walk through the old area to get to that ramp!

Will be experiencing this all next week ala GE.

Just in case anyone here hasn't reached for that Hello Kitty barf bag already.... This fantastic coverage of the LAX inaugural extravaganza will surely push you over the edge.

I'll be on board tomorrow and shamelessly will snap pictures for my daughter! How can I politely ask for a pillow for keepsake without looking like one of those Chinese tourists snatching silverware....

Am I right to assume that between Tokyo and Taipei there are two airports in each city and both routes can be Hello Kitty routes?

I'd really like to go on a Hello Kitty plane, is there any way to guarantee it when I book it? Are all of them Hello Kitty planes on these two routes or is it the luck (or lack of luck) of the draw?

I would expect they have to replace 50% of those safety cards every flight

Thanks that's helpful, I checked the website already but the splash screen wouldn't move. Changed browsers and I am all Kitty'd up now

Cheers
