Sri Lankan Airlines - Excessive Baggage Charge
Anyone know what are the terms?
AFAIK, I can only get the following info: http://www.paylessflights.com/en/air...110/index.html Business Class - free baggage allowance of 40 kg + 2 pieces of carry-on baggage up to 7 kg/15 lbs each and measuring no more than 18''x 14"x 6" (46 x 36 x 20 cm). Economy Class - free baggage allowance of 30 kg + 1 piece of carry-on baggage up to 7 kg/15 lbs and no more than 18"x14"x6" . It is not based on what your ticket is. Most airlines would allow an excess of 1-5 kg extra in economy and 5-10kg extra for Business class. But like I said, its 'some'. UL may be very strict about it. |

It would depend on your routing. Its usually calculated on something like 1% of the full economy fare per kg. So you have to call UL reservations and ask what their calculation is.
