Finally another long-haul for CZ A380!! I am thinking LAX-CAN-SYD all the way on A380

(As many of you don't know, the reason why CZ is not able to fly its A380's on long haul flights, especially to CDG, JFK, LHR, ORD, is the political power behind CA and MU. CZ has to fight very hard to have the "upper level" to approve their long-haul flights. So big congrats to CZ!)

SYD was never a problem... they just don't have anywhere else to deploy.

I don't think CZ would face much opposition to flying from CAN to any of those places with its 380s; it's just that the numbers presumably wouldn't come close to penciling. They wanted to fly longhual from Beijing in direct competition with CA. While I do believe that CA played a role in the blocking process (PEK is their home), I'm guessing that if Guangzhou was as an important market as Beijing, and CAN was operating at capacity, CZ would have little trouble returning the favor.
