MH 190/191 KUL-DEL-KUL Aircraft Upgrade B772

Came across this, MH has finally swapped the A330 with B772 on the KUL-DEL-KUL evening flight, (MH190/191) I thought maybe it was an equipment change but after googling, it's concrete. I thought the new A333 would have done the job well?? as compared to the new A333's the B772 is outdated?, as even SQ deploys the B77W on the evening SIN-DEL-SIN flight, which mostly picks up pax from (Australia/NZ) and local Singapore... So now with the B772 for MH it might be due to extra capacity?? as the North Indian expat population is growing in NZ/AUS..
