Tin Angel on West End, Margot's or Red Wagon in East Nashville and quite a long list actually depending on taste. The Loews Vanderbilt Plaza Hotel and the Capitol Grille in the Hermitage Hotel both do nice brunches as well.

Or you could think not about elegance but the cultural experience: Shoney's, never more than a few miles away from any spot in greater Nashville.

If you want cultural, go to the Loveless Cafe - 20 miles west of Nashville - down 100 I think, whatever Broadway turns into - right near the Natchez Trail. The best biscuits and smoked breakfast meats you'll find.

When I lived there the best brunch was Mere Bulles. They closed the one downtown, but there is one in Brentwood in an old manor house. It is located in Maryland Farms. B-wood is about 10 miles south of the city.

Our favorite is Germantown Cafe, with a great view of downtown:

Its been a while since I lived in the Nashville area, but on Sunday's the Opryland Hotel used ot have a very nice brunch. And the scenery at the hotel complex was truly awesome.

I second that - great food, great surroundings, and great service. The barbecue and eggs, with a side of grits and a mimosa is a pretty amazing way to start a weekend. The Natchez Trail is also a pretty drive.
