Disney and Universal Crowds

I will be in Disney on Sun. 9/22 and Universal Island of Adventure on Mon 9/23.

Has anyone been in the last few weeks? How are the crowds? I know it's off-peak so they are less but I'm hoping for most rides are closer to walk-ons.

With Disney, you do have the "fastpass" option so that lines aren't as much of a problem. I have a friend who was just at Universal Islands of Adventure who stated it wasn't too crowded--and her family was there on a weekend. I think you may have good luck w/out too large of crowds. Have a great time!

Anytime after Labor Day always has light crowds. We were just there this past weekend (9/6-9/9) and the longest wait we had was 15 minutes for a tube slide at a water park. There were no waits for any attractions we went on in Epcot which included the newest attraction (we had it to ourselves), and even Test Track. I would expect Universal to be about the same.

Be aware that because of the lighter crowds, the parks close earlier this time of year.
Enjoy your trip!

Was in Magic Kingdom, Epcot and MGM on 9/22 and Universal IOA on 9/23 - no lines, no waiting - walk right on.

I love the off season.

Disney parks never have "large crowds."

They are more than happy to host a "large audience" however.

You folks really have to get with the program, you know?

Universal's crowds were very light the weekend before Thanksgiving.

I've heard early in the new year is also very quiet (no one's got money to spend after X'mas).

Local TV said today that Disney is expecting lighter than usual crowds this year. I thought that as they have been extending the Florida Resident Specials into the Christmas week this year. We'll be at Disney Dec. 23,24,25,26 because of the specials they are offering.
