What Has Happened to Vayama??

Their website has changed and I cannot tell if they are still in business or not. I have used them quite a bit and have never had a problem with them. I hope they have not disappeared!!!

It looks the same to me as it has for the past few months. Maybe they did a website redesign since you last used it. Other than the look, are you having any problems with it?

Are these guys reputable consolidators? I'd like to book R/T DFW-FCO which will save wife & I over $300 but I read many negative reviews on the Internet. I don't know if those are just folks that are not used to dealing with consolidators or Vayama has issues

We used them to buy tickets to Tahiti from LAX for our honeymoon last October. I had no problems at all, except that they didn't notify me of one tiny schedule change (they consolidated two flights and ours got moved back an hour, no big deal). They apologized, and were most helpful on the phone when I called about it.

Booked the tickets with them and then called the airline for seat assignments.

Basically, I think a lot of the complaints have to do with people who booked tickets and then ran into trouble when they tried to change their plans. As long as you read their policies and know what you're up against if you have to change, then you're fine. I'm just not someone who books plane tickets until I am absolutely sure I am going somewhere.
