Search multi-city segments seperately?

Does anyone know of an online travel website that lets you book a multi-city trip by building it up segment-by-segment? I want to search for each segment one at a time individually and add them one-by-one to my itinerary, and have it price all segments at the end as one trip. Most sites (eg, orbitz) require you to enter all cities/dates as a multi-city trip and search for them all together. I know exactly the flights that I want, but the websites I've tried never find the combination I want. If an interface allowed it, I could also just tell the system exactly the airline / flight number / date of travel for each segment.

Any help/suggestions would be very much appreciated!!!

Best,
Bob

Did you try Expedia?

Expedia has an option to "view flights individually" when building a multi-city itin. Even those results are not complete, though so if you know your airlines, use the "Modify your search" option box on the left side, upper corner. Selecting a specific airline will reveal more flights on that carrier, and it's per-segment, so you can change carriers by segment. The only negative is the pricing doesn't appear until the end.

Still searching...

Thanks for the tip! I tried Expedia, but the "Modify your search" box in the upper left does not give the option to select particular airlines. With a multi-segment strip, only the time can be changed. Also, very few options were displayed when I selected this.

What I was hoping for was a booking tool that allowed you to supply the dates, airlines, and flight numbers, and then gave a price, rather than searching and presenting options to choose between. Any suggestions??
