Fall Trips!

Finally my husband and I have booked a long-deserved vacation to the West Coast! All summer we couldn't go travelling because of the kids but now the grandparents are coming in and we are headed for the sun! Found a great deal on Orbitz for cheap tickets to L.A. Anyone have any suggestions where we should visit?

Hello darlinG, welcome to Flyertalk

If you scroll down the Flyertalk Travel Forum further, you will find the Californina section. Click on it and look for topics (threads) on LA.

Been to LA quite a few times, but it is not my favorite place. That said, see Mann's Chinese theater and the Walk of Fame (but don't spend much time there, just see it that's it).

I liked the La Brea Tar Pits, wife hated it.

Cruise Sunset Blvd. Take a stroll on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Walk along Santa Monica and it's pier. Venice Beach is fun.

If it interests you, see Universal Studios.

My favorite thing to do in LA is take the ferry to Santa Catalina Island and spend some time there.

It depends on how long you are gone for ,but I recommend making your way towards San Diego. Maybe go to Catalina from Dana Point .Take the drive from Newport (or Laguna Beach) to Dana Point then to SAN.
