I belatedly decided that I really need to purchase a DONE4 today in order to ensure I can get over 16 segments (assuming this would not be possible post 1 June)
Mindpearl in Cape Town have been extremely helpful so far. However, I wanted to run our itinerary past some one world experts to ensure I am not missing anything. Apparently a potential issue is in relation to the number of London segments (although I am not convinced).
CPT - JNB
JNB - SYD
SYD - ADL
ADL - SYD
SYD - HBA
HBA - SYD
SYD - SFO
surface
YVR - JFK
JFK - YUL
YUL - UVF
UVF - LGW
surface
LHR - LED
LED - LHR
LHR - BUD
BUD - LHR
LHR - JNB
JNB - CPT
I would appreciate if anyone could let me know of any rule breaches or suggestions to improve the itinerary in the next few hours.
Thanks

Reason: Missed LHR - BUD segment
Invalid according to Mileage Monkey Also you missed LHR-BUD above or it is surface ?
Have read on FT there is a new link in the Oneworld site to test *ONE* but have not found it myself
Potential problem!!! E-tickets are restricted to 16 segments from tickets issued on/after 1 June 2008
Origin: CPT (za)
1: CPT-JNB: 1st of 4 (Africa)
2: JNB-SYD: intercontinental
3: SYD-ADL: 1st of 4 (Southwest Pacific)
4: ADL-SYD: 2nd of 4 (Southwest Pacific)
5: SYD-HBA: 3rd of 4 (Southwest Pacific)
6: HBA-SYD: 4th of 4 (Southwest Pacific)
7: SYD-SFO: 1st of 1 (intercontinental entry to North America without immediate transit & departure)
8: SFO-YVR: surface
9: YVR-JFK: 1st of 1 (North America Transcon)
*9: YVR-JFK: 1st of 6 (North America)
10: JFK-YUL: 2nd of 6 (North America)
11: YUL-UVF: 3rd of 6 (North America) Error!!! No oneworld service exists YUL-UVF
Your chances of getting this ISSUED AND TICKETED in the next few hours are not good. It will be Friday evening in South Africa in a few hours
The ticket will be paper, hence the rush to get it ticketed.
My ticket has just come back from AA RTW desk and all is good to go other than the fact that taxes are extorionate (19% of fare!!). I am about to pay AA in Cape Town. I only contacted them yesterday and they have turned it around in a day - pretty amazing.
As per one world YUL - UVF appears to exist and has been confirmed by AA.

OP could get around this by YUL-MIA-UVF and still be within the rules.
I think the problem might be (assuming there is a LHR-BUD in there) that you have 5 sectors in Europe? I assume the surface sector counts as one??
You could get around this if you reversed the order of your LED and BUD trips as Malev fly LGW-BUD dropping out the extra sector.
...
LGW-BUD
BUD-LHR
LHR-LED
LED-LHR
LHR-JNB

I'm ticketing today through Mindpearl as well and taxes also came to 19%. Its the LHR stopovers that'll do you in, even on shorthaul. Assuming these are open-dated, the good news is that if you change your flights down the road to be a transit instead, you can get the tax back.
As per one world YUL - UVF appears to exist and has been confirmed by AA.
I could not find it a very quick check on www.aa.com with a few random dates. Others hopefully can do a better search. Only seem to be as YUL-JFK-UVF or YUL-MIA-UVF.
Changing to YUL-JFK-UVF gives as valid in MM.
Get it ticketed quick. Its 14:49 Friday in South Africa
I would appreciate if anyone could let me know of any rule breaches or suggestions to improve the itinerary in the next few hours.

Depends what you mean by "improve". Do you mean mile earning potential? More time in international J cabin? More interesting places to visit?
Are all those cities must-visits, or just picked at random?
As you have listed it, there are only 18 segments. However, maybe you are aware that YUL-UVF will use two segments, and that you have omitted LHR-BUD so you do in fact have 20 segments.
Two CPT-JNB segments seem a bit of a waste; why not start in JNB and end in CPT or vv?
Surface from SFO seems a waste; why not do a trans-con SFO-JFK, then JFK-YVR-MEX-MIA-UVF to increase the miles.
JFK-YUL on an ER3 is a waste of a D segment.
In Europe you could do LHR-MCT instead of BUD for more miles and real J cabin. (Or AMM, or CAI)
Depends on what your objective is.
But you'd better move quickly; did you ask Cindy if she will be working on Saturday??
There is in fact a YUL-UVF service (though it's via MIA with a short stopover) and can be booked as a single flight. I originally had this in my DONE4 (though we had to waitlist for D which AA granted in approx. 10 days) but I found the UVF-LGW service limited my options in Europe without surface sectoring to LHR so I dumped it.
But to the OP, YUL-UVF can definitely be done, as can LAX-YUL which is not considered a NA transcon, unlike LAX-YYZ.

You're right: YUL-MIA-UVF is a single flight number (AA2297), but only from Sep 3rd onwards. If that is only a seasonal flight, and may not exist next summer, that might affect OP's RTW if he is planning to fly that segment at the "wrong" time.
