OW lounge in PEK

Do any OW airlines have their own lounge in PEK, or do they all rent space. What I really want to know is I am OW Sapphire travelling in Y on CX do I have any lounge options?

Thanks

I'm assuming by the lack of response that the news can't be good?

I'm pretty sure there isn't any and all airlines use a contracted lounge (BGS). But I've never been to Beijing. Sometimes you need status with the airline you are flying (CX does pay for its cardholders to use the BGS lounge).

I was in PEK pretty recently and yes it is a contracted lounge. The is OK but nothing spectacular. Seems that OW carriers are split between two lounges there, BGS and the other lounge which I cannot recall the name of.

*a and st each have a larger presence (number of airlines, number of pax, number of flights) than ow there but no dedicated lounges. i suggest you sit tight until the new terminals open.

I spoke to CX apparently all OW Sapphires have access regardless of class of travel.

Unfortunatley my travels will also be taking me to CMB which means I have to step back in time and be issued a paper ticket for the entire journey

The thread is 10 years old... any updates to this? Traveling in Business from PEK-HEL on AY... wondering what the lounge situation is? The OW website shows 2 lounges for Finnair, both Air China. I'm *Gold, so not too familiar with the OW stuff. Is there an arrivals lounge in HEL?

Since arrivals lounges are not a oneworld benefit you would probably be better off asking that question in the AY forum. Iirc, there is not an AY arrivals lounge in HEL.

You also have the Dragonair/Cathay lounge which you should have access to (as its not a third party lounge).

I suspect its slightly better than the third party lounges, though nothing like HKG

A new terminal was.opened in PEK 8 years ago, and OW airlines moved into it. Yes, there are lounges.

Just out of curiosity, why are you asking about lounges in Finland here?
