Yes thank you SLF

I never thought to check if BOS-BGI was already in because the segment on my itinerary is BGI-BOS

So my itinerary now only shows one error - two trans-cons in Aus - even though it qualifies for the exception

I'll give it a go Can you help my understanding of that rule? Is that to permit origination in Perth and immediate connection on to a east-coast to JNB/SHA etc. service? Presumably something like PER-SYD-JNB-LHR-YVR-HKG-PEK-SYD-PER is valid and consumes no west-east transcons in Oz?

Don't know that I can help
I've just paid for a LONE4 ex Perth which starts PER-SYD-JFK and ends BOM-SYD-PER
AA RTW Desk didn't make any comment about it when I booked it.

So, my reading of the rule is "an itinerary originating in PER that either starts with PER-MEL/SYD-JNB/BOM/SHA/PEK or ends with JNB/BOM/SHA/PEK-SYD/MEL-PER is one that does not have a restriction on trans-cons"

I love MM, and am very grateful for the effort made in it's maintenance. I've just noticed, however, that it isn't really clear that no BA Tier Points at all are earned by a BAEC member flying an LONEx itinerary. In addition, there can be circumstances when someone on an A- or D-ONEx ticket flies in L & earns no TPs either. (This is my understanding of the BAEC rules, although I would be happy to be corrected.)

Would it be possible, for BA users, to append to the line "# of BA tier points earned" the phrase "(No tier points for LONEx or other L-class segments.)"? (Something similar along these lines would also be fine.)

Clearly this isn't madly urgent, as people have lived with it until now, but it might save some newbie getting hold of the wrong end of the stick.

Unless I'm mistaken, on a DONEx if you are downgraded to economy, you get Y and not L. That should earn some points.

No - if you voluntarily choose to fly in economy on a plane which has a business or first class on a DONEx ticket then you need availability in L. You only book into Y on planes which only have an economy class.

Thanks for the feedback. Your suggestion is now done, thanks.

MM site down

Thanks Mwenenzi for the tip. Sorry about this folks...

Edit: update: I've signed up for a new hosting service, MM can be reached here

Looks like I'll need to sue them for every cent I've paid them

I'll see if I can find some alternative free hosting and get an alternate site in place...if anyone has a good suggestion, please let me know (I will also check all my various accounts ... I must have some hosting somewhere )

The transferring of all current accounts, and respectively all our existing customers' website's data, will begin on 10-2008-14 and the whole process will take about a week to be entirely completed. Until the process is entirely completed, 100webspace will not be able to accomodate any new webhosting accounts, and the Web Hosting Control Panel and the Signup procedure will be temporarily unavailable. Meanwhile please check our Support Forums for the latest updates regarding the transfering process.
The e-mail services will remain available, however all clients need to back up (save) all mails received during the period, as our system will not be able to retrieve those e-mails after the transfer.
Thank you very much for your understanding in this matter. Please, mind that all this procedure is undertaken to ensure better service and hosting platform and no future hassling situations.

With Best Regards,
100WebSpace Support Team

New URL available

MM may be reached at: http://slfft.zendfree.com/0.95/award.htm

I'll review it's permanent home, but a nice thing about this new hosting site is no banner ad at the top

Link didn't work for me.

Edited: Now it does.

Many thanks, but a minor-ish quibble. When using the AA mileage preferences, MM includes Plat/EXP 100% bonus on JL- and BA-numbered flights. Not so, sadly, just class of service bonus as applicable. Plat bonus on BA was discontinued last year; it never existed on JL flights (unless operated using AA code, same for BA metal.)

Thanks. In fact, MM includes the bonus on all sectors - it isn't actually checking the airlines, as there could be several operating the sector and there's no way to tell MM which one you've chosen. Currently it assumes PLT/EXP status, and applies 200% credit for Y/premium Y, 225% for business and 250% for first class.

I'm open to suggestions on the best way to deal with this. For now I've added the following warning:
Note: Elite Status Bonus miles do not apply to all carriers.

I've also added a oneworld elite status selection control; this is currently (only) used to adjust the number of miles shown as earned on AA. Feedback welcome
