JAL introduces new oneworld YOKOSO/ Visit Tohoku Fare
 

JAL will introduce a new oneworld fare called oneworld YOKOSO/ Visit Tohoku Fare from October 1 2013. This is similar to the existing oneworld Yokoso/ Visit Japan Fare but is targeted for travel to the Tohoku region. More importantly, the price is HALF of Yokoso Japan! So only JPY 5250 (tax included) per sector!

It appears you can only purchase 5 sectors per each arriving international ticket?

I've booked the Oneworld Yokoso Visit Japan Pass and they were Y fares. So, assuming these will be the same?
And yes, only max of 5 sectors, though one could buy the same deal on ANA Star Alliance Japan Airpass, around same price but also maxed at 5 sectors, though ANA does offer a similar deal with no cap on sectors

So, I wonder can someone purchase all Visit Japan Fare, JAL Okinwawa Island pass and Visit Tohoku Fare with a return to Japan Oneworld ticket, 15 sectors in total.

Why not make that 20?

That is great. Except that I want to take the train while I'm in Japan. :)

It gets surprisingly slow up North.

JAL is studying to resume regular service between OKA and FKS. So this could be included in the YOKOSO TOHOKU fare and give you the highest redeemable and elite qualifying miles per JPY. Whether you want to visit Fukushima is a different story though.

The eligibility section says that, "international air fare must be Round Trip, Circle Trip or Open Jaw." I generally only fly on one-way tickets and sometimes book tickets home last minute. Would arrivals on a one-way ticket be excluded from this promotion?

Because of consumption TAX rate rise from 5% to 8%, the price should be 5400 JPY.
