Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery?

See the link in the post above. What exactly is that, and most importantly, why?

Not sure what that site is all about, but their TSA thread is a match for any on TS&S.

I think I'll run it through a translater program and back again, the round trip should clarify things.

--------------

OK, now I get it, but I don't get why someone would go through all the effort of programming that.

Bangkok tailors
I am sure that this has been covered many times, but with the search function down...

Can anyone recommend a high quality tailor in Bangkok? I need to have some cotton shirts made, so the choice of cotton fabrics available is important. Somewhere near the Oriental would be ideal.

Many thanks in advance for any suggestions.

But my fav so far is this on Thai Cooking Schools:

http://tripfly.org/discussion/21004/...ls-in-bangkok/

Where the Blue Elephant cooking school is translated at the Smutty Elephant, the Down-in-the-mouth Elephant, Indecent Elephant, Pornographic Elephant, Sorrowful Elephant, Filthy Elephant, Unhappy Elephant, and finally the Low-Spirited Elephant.

I'm guessing he's a web designer who set up automated translated versions of some forums into Russian, either to show his potential clients or to make the info available in Russian... with filters to change user names; and the system also did a reverse translation, so FT gets translated into Russian and back to English and displayed as what we see.

Great!

I am glad that OMNI will be included... I suppose it can be if the 'flatterer' wishes to do so.

Multiple websites with FT info, potentially including OMNI.

So much for the debate on opening OMNI to web searches!

But with much improved content! Imagine what the round-trip translation will do to the quality of the discussion! It will all make more sense.
