Hogwash. You don't know what you are talking about. Pete is thrilled for Fed-Fed.

It seemed Andy really started having troubles with the shadows, which Fed picked up on.

Wow ... I was wrong about Roddick.
Congrads Roger.

Agreed. That's what a doorstop looks like when happy

Congrats to Roger!!! Thrilling end. He further cements his place as best men's tennis player ever. I was cheering for him in that Love-30 game.
Poor Andy - 3rd time runner-up at Wimbledon. Considering his grand slam record he is at least another grand slam title. Unfortunately, his career has just bumped up against a superstar. Can understand his dejected appearance though, but he needs to try harder to keep up that "cheery" loser look. He just looks miserable and like he was just robbed.
Sampras looked almost as dejected as Roddick. They can both get a drink together now.
Now that Roger has his 15th, I can now root for other deserving players.
Will be a good US Open.

Did I just see that right ?
Roger had a jacket with a 15 on it ?
Did he have someone on the sideline embroider that up after the win ?

All I'm doing is saying what I thought he looked like.
How do you know what he feels? Why is your opinion any more valid than mine?

Andy deserves credit for playing the match of his career, and Roger deserves credit for being the greatest player to ever play this great game, and he's not finished winning majors!

Anyone else feel that was a little obnoxious?

He's just become the greatest all time - at other times, it would be, but I think on this occasion he's entitled!

Well, for starters he taped a special message to Fed that showed immediately after he won.
Second, I've had a conversation with Pete about this.

haha no... FedFed can continue to suck it as far as I'm concerned.
Maybe he should become a rapper. With all the bling he brings out onto the court he looks more like one than a tennis player...

Wonder if he'd have the jacket embroidered with 15 if he was playing Nadal in the final ?
I'm guessing there's probably a warehouse full of those jackets ... to be for sale very shortly.
