Aboriginal culture experience near Cairns

Hello everyone! Does anyone have a recommendation on an aboriginal "experience" near Cairns? Most everything I have seen talks about Daintree. Is there a better option? We are looking for a half or full day excursion. We will have a car so we can drive a bit from Cairns if needed. Would prefer to not be in a big tour group.

Thanks for the help!!

+1 on Tjupaki. We went with three generations kids us and grandparents and e very one had a good time. Kids got to throw spears, learn how to launch a boomerang, got body painted, and learned a little culture.

Enjoy
