Surprisingly today, NW put 10,000 EQM in my account as "EQM Thank you Giveaway".I am quite elated of course.
I am not sure what did they give me that for.
Do you have any similar post in yours?

I did not do anything particular as much as I remember. And I am just Gold EL.
I flew every month with them mostly domestic flights. And I only register for 3 promotions this year so far; Earn up to Triple EQM, Piles on the Miles and Earn six times with Hyatt.

I also got a 10K "EQM Thank You Giveaway" posted today. Could it be the 10K EQM from the WP Visa? Based on my spend through June I should have it coming.
NW/DL would get a lot more "mileage" from these bonuses if they would give you a clue they were coming and why.

This just posted to my account as well. It could be from my WP Visa spend but sounds like (from mgcho) that it's not. It really doesn't impact me at this point as I've already exceeded 100K EQMs this year and will easily exceed 150K. I can't imagine the 4th elite tier will be >150K.
I found 10k EQM in my account today too. Certainly happy, as it makes getting gold again this year a lot more possible!
But I sure can't figure what I did to deserve it. I've been silver or gold since 2006, have flown 29k EQM sofar this year (all cheap coach fares). No affiliated credit card, and the only partner activity this year has been two hertz rentals.

It could be NWA making nice for giving WorldPerks fewer bonus EQMs under the 3x/2x/1x promo that expired last month. It's becoming obvious that Delta used a different (more generous) formula in awarding bonus Medallion Qualifying Miles under the same promotion.
Still seems weird that NWA, precise in so many other things, would simply adjust with a fixed sum. Shouldn't be that hard to recalculate using Delta's formula.

I got 5k in my Delta account today, and my father got 10k in his Delta account. No idea why I got 5k, he got 10k or more importantly why this happened.
Interesting! Nothing in either account for me. I'm sure some clever flyertalker will figure out what triggered this and I'll be watching this thread to see who the winner is.
