Nothing for me as Silver with 22k EQM so far this year and the WP Visa. 10k could incentivize me to go for Gold too... Is anyone at NWA reading this?

Welcome to DL SkyMiles.. Some fears are coming true.. Remember all the threads about how NW WP members had to earn status via BIS and how at DL you could get status without ever flying....????

Fasten your seat belts... Here we gooooooooooo.....

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised to see them take 10K EQM from my WorldPerks account just because they can.

I had mine post on 6JUL09!

Currently sitting at 74,352 for the year. This will be the first year I hit Plat. I looks like I just need one more flight.

No love for me. But I assumed no bonus since it would nearly put me over the 75K threshold. but...

I received 10,000 miles on my DL Silver (gold last year) account and have 2 segment (paid F)

I received 10,000 miles on my NW Pltm (platm last year) account and 70+ segments (med to high fares). Mostly DL metal credited to NW for better UG possibility (about 95% on available flights)

None for me or anyone of the four in my family whose accounts I manage. If you look over on the Delta thread it seems like everyone and their mother got the MQM bonus...

Unfortunately, I didn't receive any MQMs in my SkyMiles account (which has a meager 10,000 MQM for the year from a few short-hauls I forgot to put my WP number in for). I suppose it ended up for the best it went into my WP account.

Well, darn my hol(e)y socks~~~I got it in my DL acct, (but not NW WP) !!!!

With DEQM (should have been TEQM, but we're working on that), I have qualified for FO (Silver) on DL SkyMiles this year. The flights were DL-numbered, but some were on NW metal.
Guess I'll have to do some B-I-S time and move up to GM... time to check out the weekly web fares...

UPDATED 11:40am: The DL thread http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/delta...m-gift-11.html has this explanation, and those who get it should be getting an email (I haven't):

MQMs To Jump-Start Your 2010 Status
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear (Membername):

A jump start can be the perfect beginning.

That's why we're excited to provide you with (5,000; 10,000; 15,000) complimentary Medallion® Qualification Miles (MQMs) — which already have been deposited into your SkyMiles account — to help you requalify for Medallion status in 2010.

We understand your ability to travel is more restricted this year, due to the economy and other factors, but we hope you'll continue to fly with us and enjoy your Medallion status benefits while continuing to add even more Medallion Qualification Miles to your balance.

Our merger with Northwest Airlines® has created the world's largest carrier, serving almost 400 destinations in more than 65 countries on six continents, including new routes to Johannesburg, Sydney, Saigon and beyond. And, our industry-leading frequent flyer program complements our vast flight network. Medallion members like you are rewarded with premium perks, including complimentary domestic upgrades, frequent traveler security line access, special check-in privileges, waived baggage fees, preferred seating, priority boarding and discounted Delta Sky Club™ membership. Plus, new Medallion benefits are on the way in 2010.

Put your MQM jump start to good use and book a Delta flight today.

We look forward to serving you soon.

You're the reason we fly,

J. W. Robertson

Yup you and a million others. The problem is that Plat really now means Gold. At 150K you can get what we all used to know as Plat. The new name of the 4th tier will be "Double Platinum" but it should just be Platinum.
