Apologies if this has already been answered somewhere, but a search didn't call up anything. My e-miles account (and through them my e-rewards) are linked to Northwest miles. Anybody know what happens to e-miles accounts that lose their sponsor?
One would assume your sponsor would become DL as to e-miles, essentially, the airline has simply changed its name and you haven't moved "X" mile away from the home address that you registered under.
Maybe we'll get lucky though and be offered a "one-time" sponsor change or some other so we can switch to Continental or HH if we'd like...
