What difference does it make? Pretty soon DL-NW miles will largely be worthless anyway.
500 miles or 1000 miles or even zero miles, I agree it doesn't make much of a difference if interested in award travel.
With DL in charge, more miles might even be a liability to some customers since some DL miles tickets actually could cost more in DL fees than even a regular paid ticket not using DL miles.

Just flew HNL-SEA, and got the 1000 miles, slightly wired since i thought we weren't suppose to get upgraded anyways on hawaii flights. i'm not hawaii based by the way
Just got this the other day on a long haul (sigh, when there was actually hot foot).
Any idea if this possibly could be added to the DL program when merging is complete? I also fear the PE companion UG program from NW is being fleeced to the DL program.

Promo is dead, right?!
Am looking like I won't get the upgrade on my upcoming flight. Probably also likely that I won't get the 1000 miles, right?! I haven't seen anyone post anything positive on this recently so I'm assuming the promo is dead.

Still inconclusive
Flew SEA DTW 10/9 and missed upgrade but no miles posted at either delta.com nor nwa.com. My connecting flight (EUAd) DTW FLL on 10/10 already posted at delta.com. I wonder what's holding up my miles.....
