So we know Plat Guarentee posts for outbound. Now to find out if it posts on returns...
Well, actuall, there is an easer way. Has anyone ever gotten Plat Guarentee on the same return flight as a SuperSizse?
Thanks!
Steve B.
I received 2x Plat guarantee on the outbound, 2x Plat guarantee, 2k WP university and 2k supersize on the return of a recent trip. It's been a couple of weeks ago so I'm hopeful that they will stick. Keep the promo's coming!

Thanks for the update. Gotta keep going for Plat.
Again, I find it very interesting, in that you got the WPU and SS bonus miles on the same itinerary. The WPU specically states no other Bonus Miles apply to this event. Odd...

Took both course yesterday and it too posted immediately. I probably should have waited a week or two more to do the courses though as I will flying NW at the end of August or about the 95-100th day after the courses so I guess I will not qualify for the 2000 mile bonus.
This may be a silly question, but does a MSP-AMS-OSL, FCO-AMS-MSP intinerary count as a roundtrip? Note there's no travel between OSL and FCO, I booked it separately.

It's technically an open-jaw, not a roundtrip. But odds are pretty good you'll get the bonus.

I just checked my milage, and it has not been reduced by 2,000 miles since earlier today (OLCI'ed earlier today). My WPU 2,000 miles extra credit was 3/16, and the posting is still there, as is the milage.
How long ago was your posting? Recently? I believe the T&Cs said that the flight had to be within 90 days of WPU... could it have posted, then been removed, if it was past 90 days? Also, did you happen to fly any non-NWA metal on the itinerary? We've seen bonus miles post, then unpost, if there was non-NWA metal. Can't think of anything else off the top of my head, right now, but will keep trying.

Interesting... There is code W dated June 6th that magically appeared (very recently) and 2k miles gone (equally recently). I think the original 2k were posted on June 6th. Return was June 8th (within 90 days, I'm pretty sure...)
As to non-NWA metal: the original MSP->AMS->MAD trip (with KL operated AMS->MAD segment) was rerouted MSP->AMS->CDG->MAD on AF because of major delay on the MSP->AMS leg. I sent WP my new boarding passes to claim EQMs for the AMS->CDG->MAD. I was credited the EQMs very recently but the 2k disappeared!

That might be the issue then, if the trip was not on all-NW metal. Especially on international trips with late posting (Q/W?) entires, which then get lots of changes. If the T&Cs specifically state all-NW metal, you should get credit for the first all-NW metal flight after you signed up. If this is true, you should get with WP CSR, and have them credit the account.
