Copenhagen Kastrup carry on bag size
Hello,
I'm just curious if anyone knows the maximum carry-on bag size security will allow at Copenhagen/Kastrup airport. The airport website doesn't specify sizes, but SAS Airlines says 9" x 16" x 22".
I ask because a couple years ago I ran into a European airport (I forget which one) where security had a plexiglass template in front of the scanners that made the x-ray belt entrance smaller than U.S. standards.
The tourist in front of me was furious because he now had to check his bag even though "it fits in the U.S." ...to which the security guard politely reminded him, "Sir, you are not in the United States right now."
Thank you!

I don't think the airport enforces any max size, but the airlines might and it does indeed vary. As long as you follow IATA standard you should be fine. 21.5 x 13.5 x 7.5 inches or max size allowed by the airline you will be flying with. Indeed smaller than what you often see in the US.
