I love how the media does their homework.

The fact that the "flight" continues onto LAX has no bearing on the dead body stuffed up in the wheel well of the 744 that flew PVG-SFO since a different aircraft flies SFO-LAX. (sigh)

When are people going to learn this form of transportation doesn't work??

You mean millions of successful sneakers have demonstrated the human body much prefers the "One Hundred Hours Walking on 120° Sand" routine over the "Ten Hours Flying at Minus 60°" routine?

Actually, the United wheel well was an upgrade. He had originally been scheduled to fly Alitalia's Magnifica class.

interesting figures

Since 1947, the FAA is aware of 74 wheel-well stowaways on 64 flights worldwide, Gregor said.

Out of those 74 stowaways, 14 survived.

Of the 60 stowaways who were killed, the vast majority asphyxiated, froze to death or were crushed to death, Gregor said.

The last time a stowaway survived was in 2004 on a flight from the Dominican Republic to Miami, Gregor said.
