Indeed. Now wait for some to say it is because of the TSA's treatment of passengers that they would rather fly on the outside of the plane than go through the humiliating process.

Well Ma'am, if you don't want to go through the checkpoint but still want to fly, we always have wingside seating.

True, but hardly relevant. The problem (in the wider perspective) is not people killing themselves by doing idiotic things, the problem is that airport security didn't notice someone planting stuff (themselves in this case) on the plane.

Yeah, but the fact that the guy looks like he was onboard the plane when it took off from overseas, I would say that it's going to be another issue the US Govt will try to fix.(aka Air Marshall's on foriegn flights.)

I know -- let's put the air marshalls in the wheel wells!

I guess instead of formerly alive bodies, someone could readily pack the space with 160 lb of C4 or ANFO with a timer or barometric fuse. Makes me feel a hellava lot better (and super-safer) when the TSA suggests/offers to inspect my well xrayed shoes and the micro space directly in back of my belt buckle.
Let's keep perspective folks...this flight was in Africa and Europe. The TSA had nothing to do with it until it landed in the US...at which time the body was found.
Highlighting the crack security taking place over there. Gee, does that help you understand why the US Gov't. wants air marshals on foreign carriers/increased security/cancelled flights?
Please page me when you can produce an article showing that a flight originating in the US had some dumb**** stowed-away in the wheel well.
God I love people that don't even read the articles, or convienently forget the details when it suits their purposes.

Since this happened in Europe (they have such wonderful security over there ya know) it is no wonder that the US is calling for the things they are.
