Live crabs found in suitcase at Belfast airport

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-norther...itics-11627562

Five live crabs were discovered in a suitcase when officers from the UK Border Agency stopped and searched the luggage of a woman in Belfast.
The crabs had been individually wrapped and concealed amongst personal items in a suitcase.
The luggage was placed in the hold of the aircraft for the flight from China to Belfast International Airport.

Probably Chinese mitten crab, a particularly nasty invasive species.

Well I ate a lot of them last week when I was in HK. I'm certainly more than happy to help lower the number of this species, lol.

Apparently since it's Autumn, it's peak season for these "hairy crabs", which would explain the abundance.
