Debris field found in crash off California
(CNN) -- A large debris field has been found and is the focus of a search and rescue mission following the collision of a Coast Guard plane and a Marine helicopter off the southern California coast.
The search continued early Friday for nine people who may have plunged into the water after the mid-air collision, a Coast Guard spokesman said.
