House Passes Airline Pilot Training Bill

The Bill

In a nutshell, this bill would extend the hours required to fly for a commercial airline from 250 to 1500. It would also require an ATP license. There are some other noteworthy bits (including FAA changes), but you can read it yourself.

Nothing earth-shattering, but interesting in the wake of the Buffalo crash.

This forum has a decent discussion going on the topic.

Well I guess my commercial pilot licenses I earned via the Sally Struthers home study course is worthless.
What a waste of $400!
