"Naked" scanner in airport trials

The TSA might be waffling on just how detailed those body scan imagers are, but the UK isn't so hesitant.

I give it a month before those "unstorable" images start being found on employee PCs.

why not put a life size sample photo of a male and female pax (both front and back) next to the entrance to the porno machine? 5 hockey pucks says even the kettles will opt out. <ducking>

I went through the one in Vegas last month and didn't even realize it, just thought, oh this is new (duh). Am hesitating telling friend who travelled with me as she has a major body image complex. At least the person viewing the scan never sees the actual passenger, that would totally destroy her.

These nude-o-scope things are coming to Canada now too.

Personally I think I'd rather walk through one of these silly things than be felt up by some security screener, but I respect differing opinions on the issue.

I will go with the security screener, he can't say stupid @$@#$ like "raise your hands higher" or ......"totally empty your pockets" and then I say "are we done?????", they literally take forever......

You want to tell me that no one in the sales team for these machines has seen a photo of a person with an erection who was standing in these machines? Those stored photos weren't pornographic or erotic? In the eye of the beholder.

That woman is a liar by the way. The fact that images are circulating showing persons scanned with these machines is an indication that the images can be stored or captured -- in multiple ways at that.
