You know you've been spending too much time @ EWR when...

after nearly getting clipped by a cart at IAH, the first thing you think is "I miss the cart driver at EWR who drives around yelling 'MeeMeeMeeMeeMee'"...

I spend too much time connecting or almost mis-connecting in IAH.

Did that cart driver look like this? I think I've seen him too.

No, but shortly before my last flight, I did hear them paging for Dr. Bunsen Honeydew to return to the security check point...

There's a cart guy at IAH who in a very loud and deep voice yells, "CART CART CART" like a car horn. It's kind of funny.

When the power goes out in Terminal C. Apparently it happened multiple times this year.

What happens when you don't get out of the way of those guys?

I'm always tempted to stand my ground.....

You know you've been spending too much time @ EWR when...

...you've memorized the security announcement.

"For security reasons, please keep your bags and all packages with you at all times. Unattended bags will be removed for inspection and may be damaged or destroyed. For security reasons, do not accept packages or bags that do not belong to you."

I think that jingle even pre-dates 9/11. I hope they never replace it.

you know you spend too much time at EWR when the waiter doesn't ask your food or drink order, and just brings it to you (or this was until they changed all the restaurants).

I miss Gallagher's.

I know of the cart driver the OP is referring to, and can't stand that guy...along with most of the other cart drivers.

On an interesting note, I don't think i've ever seen as many carts taking passengers around in my entire life as I've seen in IAH - then closely followed by EWR.

Why on my PMUA days do I hardly ever remember seeing a single cart driver in IAD/ORD/SFO/LAX?

No, in that case, let's just rename the topic to EWR Terminal C, or the UA gates at EWR.

Probably a hold-over from the "Work Hard Fly Right" days. Let's not give UA any ideas. It's quite a walk from gate 98 to gate 137.
