Newark Airport Hotels
Hello everybody!
I am looking at booking a flight that has an overnight layover in Newark and I want to get a hotel. I was looking at the Wyndham Garden Newark Airport and the Hampton Inn Newark Airport. My price range is about 100-120 per night. If you have any suggestions, I would really appreciate it!

Welcome to FlyerTalk, roguerafter!
If the two hotels you mentioned are in your price range, then I would suggest checking (searching) the Wyndham and HHonors forums to see if any FT members have posted reviews on them. TripAdvisor is also a good source for hotel reviews, in that there are usually a decent number of reviews available (of course, you always need to try to discern and consider the source of each).

Are you familiar with how to best use hotwire and priceline system to shop & bid? I just did a quick lookup for EWR and depending on your specific travel date, you should be able to bid a room below (certainly at) the price target - one of the most recent one @ $91 for 1 night at the Wyndham - checkout betterbidding . com for tips/strategies/free rebids & recent prices paid, along with tripadvisor . com for reviews & photos by travelers.
Several others along with these 2 in the immediate vicinity and as long as you are flexible and plan/shop around - beware that many of them are used by cruiseline pax sailing out of nearby Cape Liberty port as well as NYC on sailings (check out cruisecrtics . com as they also post/share tips on discounted rates at these properties, and should give you a very good idea of what to offer/bargain & bid for ....)
