The MTA has combined the Q45 and Q47 bus routes into a single route -- known as the Q47 -- that now runs between the M.A.T. and Glendale. All trips will still serve the Roosevelt Avenue/Jackson Heights subway station, but most trips from the airport will display a destination of "Glendale/Atlas Park Mall." When going to the airport from the Roosevelt Avenue/Jackson Heights subway station, make sure you board a Q47 displaying "LGA" -- not "Glendale" -- as its destination. Fortunately the LGA-bound bus and the Glendale-bound bus board at different locations outside the subway station. More details here: http://www.mta.info/nyct/service/ser..._q45_47_49.htm |

Usually the MTA likes to split a longer bus route into two shorter ones; not the other way around. |
