If you're looking for help in planning your next trip to New York City, then you've come to the right place! Contrary to some impressions, New Yorkers are actually a friendly and helpful bunch - we’re not rude, just blunt.
So, to help us help you, please note the following guidelines:- Please do some research on your own before posting
This will help narrow down your options a bit. Broad questions like "What should I see in New York City?" are unlikely to elicit useful responses. There's a wealth of information in this forum and we're working on making it more easily accessible, but please remember to use the Search function!
- When you do post, please be specific about the following:
· Travel dates - sometimes there are specific events to be aware of
· Budget - in $ amounts, 'cheap' in NYC may be 'expensive' elsewhere!
· Interests - museums, shows, sports, food, landmarks, parks, etc.
· Restrictions - dietary, physical, traveling with small children, etc.
We have some very knowledgeable members in this forum, but without this sort of specific information, it’s difficult to provide you with helpful guidance.
