Last chance to visit the Higgins Armory

It has been announced that the Higgins Armory in Worcester, Massachusetts, will close on December 31, 2013.

This is an amazing place to visit, for young and and not so young alike. Don't miss out on the last few months of its existence. Most of the collection will move to the Worcester Art Museum but the Higgins building itself is fascinating.

I was going to post the same thing. It is really sad, it is a beautiful building and display of something most people do not get to see up close.

Oh no! Back when I lived in Massachusetts it was always on my list of things to do "sometime" and I never quite made it. Maybe I can sneak in a visit before goes.

Went there many times as a kid, had part of my wedding reception in the main hall, and my kids went to summer camp there on occasion. Sad to see it go.
