Executive Selection this morning had:

Toyota Corrolla x1
Jeep Liberty x2
Nissan Altima x2
Chevy Equnox x1

Ugly, to say the least. Took the Equinox.

Emerald Aisle CLT Friday 29th July, took a Camry, very little there beyond a couple of Jeep Patriots, which I had rented the prior week in Memphis and it was awful.

12/13/16

Executive Aisle was loaded with Tahoes, Chargers, Ram 1500s, and an XTS. This was the best quality selection of vehicles I'd seen in many recent trips to CLT.

Took the XTS. Averaged 17 MPG, haptic feedback was infuriating, seats were uncomfortable.

Should have taken a Tahoe.

Picked up there last Friday night. ES had a ton of Impalas, a new Acadia SLT, and a couple of Camaro SSs (one convertible, one coupe). I was burning a one two free day, but I needed something with room for a baby seat, so unfortunately I couldn't take one of the Camaros. I asked the lot attendant if there were any other options. She said since I was executive, I could take the X3 that they had stashed in the Premium Section. It wasn't a bad car for $5.35 in taxes and fees.

Picked up on the morning of 7/3 with a full size SUV reservation using one of my free days. I was offered a choice of Suburban, Tahoe, Expedition or Infiniti QX80. I went with the QX80 and was not disappointed. Interestingly, they told me that the Navigator and Escalade are only available for an upgrade, but I was able to snag the QX80 for no extra charge.

I picked up a one way to RDU on Sunday morning and ES was well stocked (as expected for that time of the week):

Hemi Charger
Camaro RS
Mustang Convertible (Ecoboost)
Nissan Maxima Platinum
Multiple Chrysler 300s
Infiniti QX60
Infiniti QX70
Dodge Challenger (V6)
Chevy Suburban
Chevy Impala
Many other nondescript sedans and SUVs

Heading to CLT on Monday evening with a lux reservation on a free day. Wondering if I should keep it or downgrade it to just an aisle reservation.

What did you end up getting? Picking up a LCAR reservation in a couple of weeks...

Never made it to a CLT due to flight delays. Rerouted into RDU

Saturday 12/16/ 2017 around 10am. Executive aisle had the following:
Several Explorers
Durango (blacked-out wheels, not sure trim - maybe RT)
Mustang
Charger RT x2
Ford Fusions
Assorted Chevy and Nissan sedans
Cadillac CT5 (which I took; did not like how it drove)

In hindsight I would've taken the Durango or Hemi Charger but I wanted to try the Caddy. Was a pretty good selection.

I also picked up on 17/12 though around 6:30 PM. There were the standard array of cars (Impala/Altima/300/2018 Camry SE) in the ES with an Audi Q5 and Acadia SLT as the only notable standouts. Ended up taking the Q5 though returned it about 45 minutes later due to the front charging port being jammed. They had added a Maxima SV (if it had been a Platinum as has been mentioned here a few times, I probably would have taken it), Camaro RS, Charger R/T, Cadillac XT5, and 430I Convertible to the ES. I ended up taking the BMW.

Do you by chance mean the CTS, CT6, or the XT5? The CT5 is not in production yet. I contemplated the XT5 when I picked up later that evening, but wanted to try out the 430I instead...

Had to stop by tonight to fix a billing issue and ES was slim pickings.

The only cars of noteworthiness were an XTS and a 3.6L XT5 with 12k miles and IL plates.

Was going to grab the XT5 for a day to give it a try, especially since it was the fully loaded Premium Luxury trim, but the manager wouldn't let me have two cars out at once...

Picked up around 9 AM today at CLT.

Gotta be honest I was pretty disappointed at the selection in the Executive Elite today. 12 Nissan Altimas, 1 Maxima, 2 300's (reserved), a nice Volvo and a couple of Chargers to go along with some big and mid-sized SUV's and a couple of Malibu's.

I didn't get there early enough to grab the Maxima or Volvo. I ended up with a Yukon, which is way to big for what I needed this week. Pretty disappointed.
