Friday 9/15. Same experience. I wanted a car with good gas mileage for a 2000-mile trip. The only car I could find was a KIA Optima. Otherwise all Minivans, trucks and an SUV or two.

Happened again last week. Choice was several minivans or 3 Nissan Armadas. Tried the Armada and it averaged 19mpg (most of it on I-65 to Lafayette). I asked the 'lot helper' and he said they surveyed their clientele and most of them wanted minivans/SUVs and therefore it is our fault.

Bad luck
EA selection late Wednesday night 10/18 was two Dodge Caravans and a pickup. When I asked the attendant about just getting the intermediate car I had reserved, he told me that in order to get any "regular" car, it would be a $100/day upgrade fee - both minivans and pickups were considered upgrades, and I'd just have to take one of them. He was kind of a jerk about it. First time I've ever encountered anything like that from National.

Picked up a car there last Friday 04/27@11AM:
ES:
at least 5-6 Hyundai Santa Fe (w/ cloth seats)
Nissan Rogue (MO plates, active NAV+SXM)
Nissan Murano
Nissan Maxima (NY plates, >18000 miles)
Nissan Altima
at least 2-3 Mazda CX-5
Dodge Journey, base model
Jeep Wrangler
Chevrolet Impala
Chevrolet Malibu
Ford Fusion
various GM Pickup trucks
EA:
a few small Jeep SUV
at least 5-6 GM pickup trucks
at least 5-6 Dodge Grand Caravan
Chevrolet Malibu
Ford Fusion
Upgrade:
large Infiniti SUV (60$)
Volvo XC60 or XC40 (45$)
Mercedes-Benz sedan (??$)
Honestly, I was pretty disapointed in the selection offered at this location. Asked the greeter for a bigger SUV such as Ford Explorer or Jeep Grand Cherokee and was told that since it was friday and the weekend was coming they were keeping all their SUV for their Alamo customers. The lot attendant tried pretty hard to convince me to choose one of the base model Hyundai Snta Fe they had because 'hey, theiy're brand mew we just got them' and then tried to make me upgrade to a Volvo SUV. I said I would upgrade only if they would offer me a BMW X3 or X5 but they didn't had any, got no more offer after that and got told to choose from whats available and come back to exchange later if I wasn't happy. Ended up taking the Nissan Rogue in ES with working GPS and SiriusXM and didn't really enjoy it: uncomfortable driving position, low gas mileage, annoying driver assist system.

mustang convertible,
brand new altimas,
couple Grand caravans,
Ram pickup,
couple frontiers,
BMW X3 (I took)
2x Tahoe's (Sign in them had to be back by 3/15)
Armada (Same 3/15 sign)

On Thursday, IND had a plethora of Pacificas, including some hybrids. There was one Challenger R/T Hemi. There was also the new Nissan Frontier, which still looks outdated despite supposedly being new. The rest of the selection was pretty average. Upgrades were mostly Audis of various kinds.
