Picked up 12/16 a little after 10 PM. The lot was completely full, with some of the Executive area and any open space being used as overflow. Executive and EA were SUV and truck heavy.
Executive:
Traverse LT, both bumpers badly scraped
A handful of Town & Countries
Ram 1500
2x Ford F150 (I think 5.0 V8 based on front plate brackets)
2x Sante Fe
3x Dodge Journey
2016 Mustang Convertible
Toyota Camry
1x 300
Aisle:
2x Ram 1500
1x F150
2x Dodge Journey
3 or 4 Sonatas
2017 Murano S
2017 Camaro
2 Grand Caravans
Honestly the selection was a little disappointing considering how many cars they had on the lot. Nothing in either section had below 10,000 miles, and many of them had noticeable dings/scrapes. They should have switched some/most of the cars with what was in overflow. There were plenty of new Pacificas, Encores, Chargers, 2017 Malibus, Fusions, etc.
I spied a 2016 Ford Explorer Limited blocked by just one car in the overflow, so I asked one of the porters walking by if I could take it. He said of course and brought it over to an empty space in Executive. Very friendly guy, even asked if I needed help with luggage or any questions about the car. It was white with beige leather (not a good choice for rentals), 2WD (FL tags), 18,000 miles but in good shape. The SD card for the NAV was missing but everything else was great.

I picked up an Audi Q5 on Christmas eve. Lot was pretty full. They had signs up stating SUVs and Minivans were reserved only. However, I was there for awhile and they started putting them in the Executive isle, that's how I got the Q5.
Executive had
Maximas
Camaros
Jeeps
1xMaruno
Challengers
300cs'
A Buick

Picked up over the Christmas holiday. Executive area was stocked with the normal suspects (Challengers, Mustangs, Camaros, Maximas, Chargers, 300s, full-size trucks, and SUVs). I don't normally see luxury cars up for selection here, but I ended up getting a Volvo V60 and was very pleased.

Hello I am new here, helping my mom find a rental for pickup in ATL on Sun 01 29 17. We are from STL frequent EC renters and NEVER have any problems at any times or dates getting best selections on cars and rental rates at our home location. Any suggestions to get best rates and/or best vehicle selections in ATL? BTW her flight comes in at noon. Thanks

ATL is usually pretty good about charging upgrade fees for the good stuff even if it means the aisle gets pretty barren. Keep in mind it's The Masters week so lots of fancy people will be coming in to ATL. i suspect things will be different as a result although I'm sorry I can't say good or bad...but I'd be tempted to book a lux and have a midsize backup. Mercedes is a sponsor of Masters so one would think they might have stocked up the airport in anticipation. Augusta is only 2 hours away so I'd expect a fair amount of folks coming into ATL.

And once you get the car.... I -85 is closed between the I-75 split and exit 86. And will be closed until mid June at best

If you need to go north from the airport look at your options.

There were no cars there when I arrived on 4/6 at 3:30am. Greeter had about 10 of us waiting.
I would make a lot of back up reservations. I had one with Sixt and Avis. Avis held my rental so I went there.

I've been here once a week for the past month and every time have been extremely impressed with their selection. They had plenty of full size vehicles and SUV's each time. In addition I have seen at least 2 Cadillac's (both ATS and XTS) and one BMW X3 on the executive aisle each time. I have taken the BMW each week and some had back-up cameras and some did not.
