About to hit Exec Elite - any tips?
It looks like I'm going to hit exec elite status in the next few weeks.
From looking at the National page there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of benefit other than faster free day accrual. Am I missing something?
Do you still pick up cars from the exec aisle?
Do women swoon at your god like status for car renting?
Happy Friday.

Still use the exec aisle for pickup.
That's about it unless you fly on private aircraft.

Guaranteed vehicle with 24 hours booking helps a lot in busy summer locations. YVR is sold out most of the summer, but I can get a car with a days notice.

Don't expect any difference except for the hard benefits:
- guaranteed 24 hr reservation
- one less rental to earn free rental day
- can use a free rental day on mostly any reservable car
Hitting public top tier elite status with a car rental company is much less exciting than airline or hotel, so if that's the type of difference you're hoping for...

The only places I've noticed any real change are small locations where the agent is offering you a choice of cars, or in some cases picking it for you. I've gotten a couple Cadillacs and Lincolns that way, things that would not likely be in the Exec aisle.
