Quietest cars in the fleet

I will be driving from PHX to LAX tonight. Using a free day and booked a luxury so expect to be able to pick nearly any class.

Which sedans/small suvs will give the quietest highway ride?

Maybe National has an electric vehicle somewhere in their fleet?

The several hours spent outside charging the car at night should provide a lot of quiet time halfway through your trip.

I'd go with a Toyota Avalon or Buick LaCrosse if quiet is your main goal.

Haven't tried the new Genesis, but the old one was very quiet. The Avalon and LaCrosse are also very quite too.

Spent 3k miles in a LaCrosse last month. It's pretty quiet. Enclave was pretty quiet too from what I remember

I was going to suggest the Enclave, too, but then I realized it wasn't a "small" SUV unless you're comparing it to a Suburban or Tahoe

Had a Dodge Durango recently. Was very surprised at how quiet the ride was.

Lacrosse as many have mentioned, or maybe a Cadillac XTS, which is built on the same platform as the Lacrosse

I hear it's pretty quiet inside the Chrysler 200, because they rarely leave the rental lot...

Lacrosse and XTS were going to be my mentions as well... or Genesis if you could ever come across one anymore. Also Lexus ES350, which I've seen more at LAX than anywhere else.
