Back in 2009 I got a first-generation Ford Fusion 4-cylinder (the old weak 2.3L) with about 61,000 km on it from YLW. But that is a franchise. Highest I've ever seen at a corporate store was a Mazda6 with about 42,000 km on it.
I remember at the tail of the recession in early 2010 YVR had some Volvo S40s in their Luxury section of the aisle with 40XXX km on the clock and they were 2008-09 models, so likely bought from the auction.

Just checked my records and the worst I've selected was a Dodge Nitro at MCO with 19,500 miles. That was very early in my National experience and I can proudly say I've come a long way since then.

I've ever had was a Malibu with 7 km on it at YYT from Avis. That was pretty neat.

Ive consistently had low mileage cars from National. There have been a few times Ive driven high mileage cars but that seems to be the case when I rent outside of the U.S./Canada where the standards of renting cars falls about 10 fold in other Western Countries and about 20 fold everywhere else.

Highest mileage in the US: 22,000 miles on a Maxima in Denver.
Highest Mileage in Canada: 58,000 KM on a Mazda 3 in YXT with snows on it.
Lowest mileage was a 2012 Toyota Avalon with 6 miles on it in ATL. They just delivered it.
95% of the time, I get cars in the 7-15,000 range.

My recent rentals have for the most part been in the 12-15k range. Lowest was a Charger at SFO with about 7k.

In October 2012 I rented from National El Salvador. They gave me a 2007 Kia (foreign model, I don't recall the exact one) with numerous dings, dents, etc, check engine light on, and 87,000 km. At least it was inexpensive - only around $130 for the whole week if I recall.

Worst I have had was from the franchisee at MQT, where I didn't have much choice. It was a sedan in the low 40,000s, and if I recall it was a two year old vehicle.
