10,000 NW Miles for Shopping at its portal

http://www.nwa.com/features/mdg09/?o...WPMallSolo.CTA

10 ~$1 purchases at 10 different vendors will yield you 10,000 miles. Not a bad deal!

Shop at any of the participating merchants below and earn better than normal miles per dollar spent from April 24 to June 30, 2009.
Earn an additional 1,000 Bonus Miles when you purchase an item from any of the 56 participating merchants listed below*.

Not all stores participate.

Maybe this post should morph into the thread about all the stuff you can buy at the qualifed partners for $1 or less AND that can picked up in store (or with free shipping).

Like this:
sears.com
Craftsman 4 Way Screw Driver
$0.99
Eligible for in-store pick up. (seems to be in stock at several local stores)

Is Sears the only one that allows for in-store pick up?

Clinique Lip & Eye Pencil Sharpener
$1.00
eligible for in-store pick up

Barnes and Noble

Barnes and Noble online books... $1.23 and no shipping
http://search.barnesandnoble.com/ARM...62871/?itm=114

There are also 01-82 cent books, but I get nervous about them not rounding up(even though I've heard they do). I'd rather splurge on the $1.23 to be sure I'll get the credit

And this makes it a good thing that their shopping program was not included in the Pile on the Miles promotion...otherwise we'd have conflicting promo problems and all that!

Also, kodakgallery.com has in store pickup for photos at CVS and Target. My experience with deals like that is that if you are able to pre-pay online, you get credit.

can't seem to find any T&C on the offer.

it also isn't listed on the main promotion page, but since it started today, thats not too unreasonable.

sacksfifthavenue.com has free shipping (with code APRSHIP9) until April 28th but I haven't been able to spy anything even near the $1 range.

The only online books I found were a min of $6 or so. They had others which are not eligible for miles award. Am I missing something here? Thanks.

Field and Stream for $5.97 is another one.

Not as good as the other $1 deals, but not bad either.

Does it state somewhere that they are not eligible for miles? I made an online mag purchase for $1.15 and want to verify it. Thanks.

Weird that you can't buy that at the Clinique site (also a member)
