It's not my terms. If you would read the link provided in post#1, you shall see:
Quote:
2 The second 5,000 bonus miles will be credited to your Mileage Plus account after the first qualifying purchase is made. You can also add up to three additional cards for others on your joint checking account and pay no additional annual fees. Plus each new cardholder will receive 2,500 bonus miles. Please allow 6-10 weeks after your first qualifying purchase for bonus miles to post to your Mileage Plus account.
I didn't quote the complete terms. I think it's better to read the full terms and conditions before signing up for any promo.

I believe your someone was OP (see post #29).

OP didn't say you could get both UA & CO miles. Both miles bonuses offers are for personal checking accounts only. Read closely the terms I had quoted in post#33. If you read the terms in the other CO bonuses thread, you'll find both indicate personal checking accounts. FWIW, I doubt the bonuses miles would be offered to "business" since FFPs are supposed to be for individuals. I think OP has been successful in getting miles bonus from personal checking accounts and cash bonus from business checking.

I never open a business checking account so I may be wrong on this. However, as far as I know, Chase only offers cash bonuses for business checking accounts. I didn't pay attention if miles bonuses were ever offered since I had/has no plan to open one. I did see plenty of cash bonuses promo for new business checking accounts over the years though.

have people here had success redeeming this offer online with the coupon code? i have tried many times (refreshing the coupon code and entering the different codes), but each time the website says the code is invalid.

I spoke to a Chase representative and she told me this offer can only be redeemed at the local chase branch. Also, it doesn't seem like there is a way online to opt for the $25 (cheaper) debit card. There are no Chase branches here in California where I live (according to the rep) and she encouraged me to talk to United about how I could go about redeeming this offer.

Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks

No. They take the $25 or $65 off your account at the end of the first month.

The only way I know of is to visit an area where Chase has branches. Happened to be in AZ last week and opened an account there. Made my first purchase and a direct deposit will be made this Friday. Then it is waiting game for the points to post.

If you donot have an opportumity to visit Yuma for a Chase branch, all you got to do is wait for a few weeks. I was told by my friends at WAMU that it will become Chase starting April 1. So Chase is coming to your neighborhood in Cali soon.

No go at Chase in NoCal. Even though Wamu here has rebadged as Chase,
they cannot take Chase offers. Offer code was rejected and CSR called
in.
