I have read on fatwallet, that some people were rejected during the application for checking account. They were refered to Transunion credit report. They say that their credit score is > 725.
Has anybody experienced this problem?
Do they really check the credit history?
My credit score is below 700 so I am worried.
Is it better to open acc in the branch then?
I am not sure if i received the 2,500 enrollment bonus accidentally, but so i have received a total 23,500 miles, never received 2,500 miles all my other account openings before and i didnt do anything different.

I had the same this go around. I thought it was a fluke. Had all 21,000 posted and then the extra bouns 2,500 came out of nowhere a few weeks later.

The same story here. Thought it might count the primary as the first authorized card? well, should go for the $65 card at the first place

- 11,000 miles for the Debit Card (No need to get the $65 Preferred card if you don't plan on using it, the $25 card will give you the same 11,000 miles)
- 2,500 additional miles for getting the card (this is not part of the promotion, but something that everyone gets - it usually takes longer for this to post, I would say at least a couple weeks after the 21,000 miles)
If you happen to have a Chase branch near you, some branches are willing you let you combine this with the $125 bonus found online. The chances are slimmer now, but if you are lucky and find someone to do it, make sure you have the enrollment confirmation pages before leaving the branch!
Additionally, you can always combine these with the refer a friend coupons.

I opened up my checking account with the $25 debit card on Monday March 30th. I got the debit card on Thursday April 2. I already used it once and cut it up. My first direct deposit will go into the account on April 10th.
So how long would you expect it to take before any of the miles show up? I'm just looking for a rough estimate based on others results thus far.

Thanks,
It usually takes about 4-6 weeks for all my bonus to post, every time i have opened an account

Signed up on March 16th. Got the card on the 24th and immediately charged it. April 1st got the 11k bonus for the card. April 3rd - set up first direct deposit. Now waiting for the 10k.
