Got it. Thanks.

Also how do they define a year?

Calendar year or time between opening the accounts?

Say you did it here in Nov 2009. Could you get it again in Jan 2010
or would you have to wait until Nov 2010 ?

From the T&Cs:

"Limit one personal checking account-related reward per customer, per calendar year."

Will an Oregon WaMu/Chase branch work?

Heard California WaMu/Chase branches aren't going to work for this offer until the end of October when the merge is completed. I'm assuming Oregon branches are in the same boat or maybe even later? Anyone have any knowledge on this? Thanks much...

Do the additional cards have to go to real people or can I just invent children?

It seems "business checking account" is also offering 25k miles. Just like credit card, it may be possible to open both personal and business checking accounts and get two bonus per year. True or false? Anyone tried?

So after you make the five debit card purchase, you wait for points to post then cancel account? I take it the monthly direct deposit is no longer needed?

Money and Miles?

Anyone have luck combining the 25k miles coupon with the ever present cash offers for opening up an account?

Just opened an account...

Improvement over past attempt:

now they give (2) confirmations of mileage, with tracking numbers! it also has annoted the OnePass number.

Miles posted

I signed up for an account with the 25,000 mile offer on 7/31 and noticed that the miles just posted.

08/17/2009 Continental Debit Bonus 12,500
08/17/2009 Continental Debit Bonus 12,500

I'm a little confused as to why the two postings were 12,500 (instead of 10,000 + 15,000). According to the promo it should be 10,000 for opening the account and using the debit card 5 times plus another 15,000 for first purchase.

This makes me think I might have more miles coming...

Has anyone else had their miles post from the 25,000 promo?

I can confirm the two tracking numbers, one is for the bonus you receive after setting up a DD, the other you receive after you use the debit card to make a purchase the first time (swipe as a credit card).

Is there a lower cost option for the business card, or are you required to get the $65 card as well as make 5 monthly purchases on said card until the you can close the account 6 months later?

Where/how do you see tracking numbers? I opened an account and used my debit card. Other than the the promo paper I provided when opening the account, and the verbal confirmation from the same person that I am signed up for the promo, I have nothing from Chase indicating that I'll be receiving miles.
